Accessibility
Our commitment
Lipid Complex wants every customer to be able to learn about the treatment, take the hair quiz and order on lipidcomplex.com, whatever tools they use to browse. We work to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA, the standard used by the U.S. Department of Justice and New York courts.
What we have done
- Every page has a skip link, a page language, a main landmark, one main heading and a visible keyboard focus ring.
- Every image has a text alternative. Silent clips are described in text; moving clips can be paused.
- Every form field, including search, the hair quiz and the newsletter, has a label that screen readers announce.
- Text and links meet the 4.5:1 colour contrast ratio.
- Every video with speech carries closed captions. Nothing plays sound on its own.
- Checkout runs on Shopify, which publishes a WCAG 2.2 AA conformance report for it.
- No accessibility overlay or widget is used. The fixes are in the site itself.
- The whole site was tested with automated checks (axe-core, WCAG 2.1 and 2.2 A/AA rules) on 13 October 2026, and we re-check it every month and after major changes.
Known limitations
- Subscription management, reviews and email sign-up are provided by third-party apps. We test them, but we do not control their code.
- Some older journal images have short text alternatives. We are rewriting them.
